Hyperloop
For transportation, we use a bus, train, ship, airplane and spacecraft’s and these are not nature-friendly. But here the latest technology is coming now that is Hyperloop whose average speed is 900 km/hours and completely nature-friendly.
It has a steel tube which has a capsule-like structure which carries passengers and luggage and this capsule travel from one place to another place with high speed due to negligible friction. Negligible friction is achieved by the low pressure inside the loop and capsule float in the air by installing the magnet on the bottom of our pod (i.e bottom of the capsule).
The capsule contains a battery with providing power to an air compressor which provides thrust to the capsule.
It consumes very low power and this power is obtained from the solar plates place over it. The overall system is power generative because it produces more energy than it consumes. It is completely environment-friendly because there is no noise pollution, work on solar energy, no contact with surrounding and many more reasons are there.
This idea is to introduce by Elon Musk CEO of SpaceX in 2012. At that time he is busy in the manufacturing of rockets and spacecraft’s so he invited other forms to research and investments. In 2014 this Hyperloop is introduced.
History
In July 2012 at a Pando Daily event in Santa Monica, California Elon Musk first mentioned that he was thinking about a concept for a "fifth mode of transport", calling it the Hyperloop. This is collision free, high speed, environment-friendly, low power consumption. The name Hyperloop was chosen because it would go in a loop. Until August 2013, a group of engineers from both Tesla and SpaceX worked on the conceptual modeling of Hyperloop.
In June 2015, SpaceX announced that it would build a 1 mile long test track to be located next to SpaceX's Hawthorne facility. The track would be used to test pod. A crowdsourced operation called Hyperloop Transportation Technologies claimed in early 2016 that it would begin construction later in the year of a 5mile (8 km) Hyperloop test track in Quay Valley but it has yet to receive the permits or even begin its environmental review process. and final testing of Hyperloop is in this year 2017.
Fact
According to Musk, Hyperloop would be useful on Mars as no tubes would be needed because Mars' atmosphere is about 1% the density of the Earth's.
